KejbyKej AV900 ANC – Best Review

In this blog, we are going show the best review for KejbyKej AV900 ANC. It may be fun and difficult to write evaluations of headphones and earbuds. After all, people’s perceptions of sound quality vary greatly. Because not everyone enjoys the same kind of sound as I do, it is difficult to explain why I like or dislike this headset with certainty. This is made much more challenging by the KejbyKej AV900, a pair of wireless headphones that really does a lot of things pretty well. I really wish a couple of things were improved, though.

Design, Build & Comfort –

The design and build quality of the KejbyKej AV900 immediately caught my attention. They exude luxury vibes like a superstar on a red carpet and have that “wow” effect. They stand out with their own special appeal when compared to other wireless headphones in the same price range. It seems as though they have a special luxury potion that affects you immediately. Can we also discuss the colour scheme? Beige and silver, darling! It appears as though they collaborated to offer you an additional helping of slick elegance. But hey, don’t worry if that’s not your thing! They also have a black variation.

In terms of construction quality, it’s also fairly good. The headband and size adjustment hinges, for example, both have the proper amount of metal, which gives them a sturdy and durable feel. They are unquestionably not prone to breaking or cracking easily. The AV900 is designed to survive even the most intense dance parties and unplanned air guitar jam sessions.

The icing on the cake is that it doubles as your ideal travelling companion. Yes, they are not only attractive but also useful. These headphones can be folded not just once, but twice. It appears as though they are saying, “Hey, bring us along on your daily adventures, and we’ll fold ourselves up nice and compact for you.” Therefore, the KejbyKej AV900 has your back and is prepared to rock your world wherever you go, whether you’re travelling to work or seeing the world by plane.

Although it may appear that the AV900’s ear cups are made of metal, this is not the case. They look to be constructed of metal, but they are actually plastic; it’s only the colour. And what about that? Actually, that’s a good thing! They would weigh a tonne and feel like wearing a mediaeval helmet if they were made of metal.

For the past three to four days, I have been wearing the KejbyKej AV900 wireless headphones as my daily driver, and I have had no issues with their comfort. One explanation for this is because while having a sturdy structure, they are lightweight. The suppleness of the ear cushions is an additional factor. Additionally, the driver unit contains plush cushioning, which, at least at this price range, is uncommon in the world of headphones. Any pressure on the ears is relieved by doing this. Therefore, they are the primary causes of their comfort.

The same soft material is also completely covered over the headband region, preventing any unwanted pressure on the top of the head. Therefore, comfort is just as important as sound quality, and these headphones excel in that department.

Buttons and Ports –

Let’s now discuss the user experience. On the right side of the headphones, three multipurpose buttons let you manage incoming calls and audio playing. There is a micro USB charging connector next to the buttons. Oh, and don’t forget the microphone, which is also conveniently placed nearby, and the LED indication light.

When you wish to go old school and plug in a wired connection, you can find a 3.5mm jack on the left earcup. To turn the ANC (Active Noise Cancellation) on or off, there is a handy tactile switch. A little blue indicator light that blinks at you to let you know whether ANC is active or taking a rest makes things simpler.

ANC –

Let’s talk about how the KejbyKej AV900 performs in ANC. The ANC is rather good, in fact. It may not quite reach the height of ANC excellence, but it still performs a fair job because it can suppress noise by up to 20 dB. This ANC feature will be a helpful companion if you travel frequently, whether it is by aircraft, bus, or rail. It’s almost like an added bonus for these headphones.

It’s important to keep in mind that the KejbyKej AV900 is primarily targeted towards audiophile customers who might not be completely smitten with ANC. They tend to use it sparingly since ANC can occasionally degrade the crystal-clear audio they want. Even so, ANC could still allow you to hear a slight whisper of background noise, especially if the audio track is muted or mild. We can’t be too upset because it is typical for most ANC headphones at this price.

Connectivity –

With these headphones, I had no issues with connection or range. It has Bluetooth 5.0, which enables simple connections with iPhone, Android, PCs, and smart TVs without any range or connectivity problems. It features an auto-off option but does not support dual pairing. Additionally, wired connections are a possibility. Yes, these headphones can be used wirelessly without a battery.

Battery & Mic –

A 400mAh battery powers the KejbyKej AV900 and claims to provide up to 20 hours of playback time. However, in actual use, you may anticipate 12 to 14 hours of playing duration at 50% volume and no ANC. Playback time drops to about 8 to 9 hours if ANC is enabled. Although some people would consider this to be low, it is a typical figure, and the majority of wireless headphones in this price range offer comparable performance. Additionally, it enables quick charging, enabling you to complete a full charge in about 1.5 hours, which is accurate.

These headphones’ microphone is regarded as mediocre and could not live up to expectations. If you’re especially searching for wireless headphones with an excellent microphone, they might not be the ideal choice.

Sound Quality –

The KejbyKej AV900’s audio performance has been painstakingly calibrated by Ricky Kej, a three-time Grammy Award-winning musician who is well-regarded in the music industry. I was eager to evaluate its audio performance because of this. I used a variety of gadgets to test these headphones, including a PC, an iPhone, and an Android phone with a DAC. Overall, the audio quality showed promise, demonstrating the skill that went into this headset’s audio tuning.

The AV900’s overall tuning is natural and somewhat V-shaped; you might say this is a hybrid of studio monitoring and common headphones. However, it should be mentioned that because the general tuning is unbalanced and although the manufacturer didn’t promote it that way, they do not qualify as professional monitoring headphones. It has been tweaked (V or U-shaped tuning) to target a large user base.

The bass response is excellent, deep, and incredibly detailed at lower frequencies. It does an excellent job of controlling low bass, which gives audio files a contemporary, lively feel. I’m relieved that the low frequencies haven’t been extended so much that they overwhelm or muddle the presence of other sounds. In that regard, the KejbyKej AV900 has undergone careful tuning. The audio may be effectively controlled by the mid- and high-frequency range.

Although I must admit that I am not an audio specialist, there was one aspect that I thought might have been better. As a result, there may be other drawbacks that I am not aware of. To make high-pitched sounds more lively and clear, I think the 5 to 8 kHz frequency range may have been expanded a little bit further. I thought that some of the louder vocalists and some of the high-pitched instruments in some tracks missed a little bit of depth.

However, even some more expensive versions cannot match the excellent soundstage and sound separation of these headphones. With these headphones, I also got the chance to listen to various live events, and I really liked the soundstage and sound direction. The distinctness of each instrument and sound direction is immediately audible.

Overall, the KejbyKej AV900 has good sound quality. You can expect this level of sound from a decent set of wireless headphones costing Rs. 10,000!

Conclusion – KejbyKej AV900 ANC

The KejbyKej AV900 should primarily be purchased for the sound quality. They are finely tuned and provide an audio quality level that is sometimes difficult to obtain in this price range. Sennheiser HD 458, Skullcandy Hesh ANC, and Sony WH-CH720N are three top competitors in the same price bracket, making it difficult to compare these headphones to others. Sennheiser HD458 and Sony WH-CH720N perform better than this one in certain areas of sound quality, but I stressed some, not all! In comparison to these two, I believe KejbyKej AV900 managed a lower frequency (Bass). Although I don’t believe there is much of a difference in sound quality between them, there could be differences in features, design, and cost.
